The Transplant Center Quality Dashboard offers a transparent view into how the kidney transplantation network is working to improve access to transplants. Built using data collected through E-STAR, this tool highlights critical steps in the transplant process—referral, evaluation start, and waitlisting—with breakdowns by race, ethnicity, sex, age, and insurance status. Further, these reports provide information on referral, evaluation start, and waitlisting rates over time, the percentage of preemptive referrals, and the median time between each step in the transplant process. This novel tool is designed to support quality improvement and outreach efforts within centers, transparency within the process, and informed decision-making among those within the kidney disease community.
